Principal Security Engineer leading team of eight Senior Security Engineers (SSEs) including coaching, motivation, evaluation and recruiting. Leverages expertise in delivery of global security solutions to help build and run Swisscom security operations centre. Luis is Team Leader of Managed Security Services at a major Telecom in Switzerland and has 10 years technical expertise in the information technology field where the last 6 years were fully dedicated to the security area. He holds the CISSP certification and several others.

Security evaluation/implementation experience, with FIPS-140-2 and/or Common Criteria. Coordinate and run any demo lab or proof-of-concept required by customers, in order to shorten the sales cycle and effectively highlight advantages over competitors. Security Engineering practices (CEN, NIST, IETF, OSI, ITU-T). Proficient with security products firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPN, PKI, antivirus, intrusion detection, content filtering, antispam. Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
