As Head of Group Risk responsible for financial risk management and financial partner management of the Siemens group. Jointly with my colleagues in the treasury department, I shape Siemens’ approach for cash management, hedging, refinancing, insurance, pensions and guarantees as well as the underlying infrastructure.

As board member (CRO) of RISICOM Rückversicherung AG, responsible for risk management and regulatory reporting. In that capacity, involved in all business decisions (reinsurance, asset management, etc.). Additionally, driving the risk financing strategy of Siemens, including joint business development with the industrial business, as well as digitalisation for the SFS Business Unit Insurance.

As advisor to Siemens Financial Services management in charge of the yearly strategy discussions within SFS as well as with the Siemens Board, the definition of specific business strategies and the review of the organizational set-up of the Financing support functions as part of a Siemens wide cost improvement program ("1by16").

Consultant to the clients' top management, particularly for European banks. Focus on the definition of business strategies (geographies, products), planning and budgeting, as well as design and implementation of processes, organizational structures, and risk evaluation methods
