Mahsa Taghipour

Hello! I have a master's degree in Biotechnology for the Bioeconomy at the University of Milan. My studies focus on the application of biotechnology in the context of sustainable development and the circular economy, with a particular emphasis on agricultural and food science. I took an internship as part of my master's degree where I was involved in the characterization of Quinoa Seeds protein and assessment of their potential anti-inflammatory activity. Through this project, I was developing a deeper understanding of the important role that biotechnology can play in promoting human health and well-being. Prior to my academic pursuits, I gained 4 years of experience in a hospital as an infection control expert (Microbiologist). I am excited to continue my academic and professional journey in the field of biotechnology and look forward to contributing to the development of sustainable solutions for the challenges facing our world today.
