Margaret Nasimiyu Weber

Worked as a trainee for a period of six months, four months of the six months i worked independently on a project titled “Flotillin-like vacuolins play a role in mycobacteria infection in the amoeba Dictyostelium”. This project was summarized in an article and submitted to a peer-reviewed journal. The data that I generated will most probably be part of the manuscript on which i will be a coauthor.

Infection Biology is a two year Master program in the field of Life Science offered as a joint program of the Universität zu Lübeck and the Research Center Borstel. The course equips one with skills in basic research, clinical and pharmaceutical research and development, in teaching and education, in diagnostics, epidemiology and in healthcare policy.
