During this position I worked with a team in cancer genomics. My role specifically was to modify a Python tool so it will be able to work with a new type of data that we were getting in the lab. Thanks to this I was able to improve my Python skills. I would also use R to analyze the results obtained. And finally due to the size of the files I would run the program remotely.

In this role I helped during the launching of orthopedics boots for kids with clubfoot. Here I would talk with specialists, propose and analyze ideas and 3D print models.

I was a teacher's assistant in Biomedical Physics, a second-year subject in Biomedical Engineering. In this position I would answer questions, help to solve exercises and ask questions during oral exams.

In this role I was asked to either help to do a daily activity that was very repetitive or to develop an automatic solution. Therefore, I decided to implement a Python-based solution. Since I was the only one in the group with coding skills it was challenging a lot of times but also it helped me to learn to solve problems and make decisions on my own. It also taught me to be in contact with professionals from a very different background and to understand the exact needs and problems that they had.
