Leading a team of 13 employees, responsible for all activities in the area of recruitment, internal and external training, personnel development and succession planning. Major achievements: - Set-up of the DAF Mobility Centre to guide redundant DAF employees to another position inside and outside the company. - Project Manager for the introduction of Performance Management. - Organisation and coordination of training activities to cover 100% of the DAF population in partial unemployment.

Responsible for policy setting and organisation of global initiatives in the area of talent development, recruitment, competence and performance management. Additional responsibility as strategic HR Business Partner for all global support functions (approx. 800 employees). Major achievement: - Organisation of first Global Talent Review, a bottom-up process in which the total population has been reviewed in terms of performance, potential, retention and succession planning.

Responsible for management development, training, career and succession planning for top and senior management. In newly created position, all activities have been built up from scratch. Major achievements: - Successful implementation of performance and competence management system for top managers and introduction of the Kappa Dictionary of Competencies. - Building out Kappa University by developing international management education programs

Responsible for global HRM activities. Major achievements: - Re-organisation from company to division structure, including repositioning of people, communication and negotiations with local and European labour councils. - Integration of newly acquired companies Aquarius (Weert, NL) and Dixie Union (Kempten, Germany) into CFS organisation, culture and values.

Responsible for HRM for all subsidiaries of division Land Transport, excl. Benelux and Germany (1,500 employees). As from 1996 combined with responsibility for compensation and benefits on group level. Located in Düsseldorf and Rotterdam. Major achievements: - Design and implementation of a new remuneration system for the top management of Nedlloyd Group. - Review of existing Expat policies and organization of cross-border transfers. - Alignment of European HRM policies and practices.

Responsible for Management Development and later on for all cross-border HRM issues.
