I was responsible for organization of the engineering unit in the company including setup of dedicated work/product groups with individual leads with clear responsibilities, definition of handover points with associated milestones and gates between groups, initiation of alignment structures between the groups and to management, reporting flows and structures, financial and resource planning for different projects and products.

I was responsible for planning and managing the projects within a product development program including program and project timeplan planning, alignment with available ressources and realizable features, organisation of collaboration between frontend and backend groups, organisation and execution of releases and deliveries, requirements management, milestone reviews, escalation meetings, risk analysis and management, organisational and technical documentation.

CoinBau GmbH developed, produced and operated high performance computers for Bitcoin mining. It was my task to build up the company in departments, employees and processes on the one hand and to develop specialized ASICs, electronics, software and complete servers and to organize and manage their development, volume production, bring-up and operation on the other hand.

After achievement of my Dr.-Ing. degree in Dec. 2011 (PhD) I work as hardware development engineer in Start-Up company. I plan and design hardware modules and complete, programmable chips, which are also fabricated in silicon, autonomously as well as leading part within a team for digital signal processing applications.

As co-founder of CoinBau GmbH I was responsible for development of first generation of Bitcoin miner as proof-of-concept for investors and to make the financial plans and presentations for investor attraction.

As research associate at German university I worked towards my PhD thesis and in several national+international research projects. Responsible for autonomous research, project organization and project supervising in the areas of Multi-Processor System-on-Chip, FPGA and embedded systems design, evaluation and research. I was involved in the 'Tomahawk' MPSoC design project (chip was fabricated in UMC 130nm) and had leading position in the 'Tommy' and 'Atlas' MPSoC design project (fabricated in TSMC 65nm)

As an intern I was responsible for setting up a Matlab simulation chain for simulating beamforming algorithms in wireless communications.

As student I assisted research associates and PhD students in their projects. E.g. VHDL design (Viterbi decoder for DVB), Assembler programming for OFDM demo.

As student I taught new first semester students in maths.
