Responsible for Overland operations. Manage, guide and coach regional operational management and staff in order to continuously improve the overland operations, customer service levels and productivity. Set and enforce the required operational procedures and processes in order achieve best in class operations. Analyze and recognize potential synergies and cost savings and incorporate these in the overland operations. Manage and expand the European hub & spoke network and local hubs and planning units.

Operational responsible for intra European Airfreight product. Expand and implement Airfreight product in Eastern European regions. Identify and recognize potential synergies and incorporate these into the organization. Identify, assess and implement strategic cooperation opportunities across Europe. Reduce operational spend of air- and surface capacity.

Support and develop the European operations and network in further developing and improving the operations across Europe. Steer, guide and coach the regional and country operational units to ensure operational excellence. Set operational, documentation and communication standards leading to higher productivity. Implement new accounts on an operational level.

RFI and RFQ management within European region. Develop and implement process and guidelines for tender management throughout Europe. Manage and coach the road freight tender and solution design team. Guide, coach field sales and account management teams in pricing and product offering. Participate in sales activities. Develop and manage a Pan-European pricing methodology, structure and tools.

Maintain strategic alliance between ASB-Air, Panalpina and AIT worldwide logistics, based on the combined usage of a time definite trucking network for air, sea and domestic cargo. Develop, implement and manage a ground network and distribution strategy in the USA. Implementation of a hub-and-spoke network connecting numerous locations through hubs and cross-docks on a daily basis. Procurement for trucking, distribution and air cargo handling.

Develop, implement and manage a time definite ground network concept. Develop and implement a sub-hub concept throughout Europe supporting network strategies. Manage and coach a team of operational staff. Develop and introduce short term controlling and reporting tools to bridge the lack of a capacity management system.
