The SAP HANA Technology Innovation Network organisation is driving SAP HANA certifications and overall product improvements. In close collaboration with hardware, technology and cloud vendors as well as strategic customers we develop and evolve SAP's HANA database engine. New technologies around artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtualisation and IoT are impacting the SAP HANA technology and its embedded engines and is driving innovation and product improvements.

SAP Digital Business Services guides companies at every stage of their digital transformation. In this function Martin develop's new services and strategies so that our customers make the most of these innovations based on their unique business needs and goals. These new services provide a clear method and access route for our customers to take towards cloud, digital and SAP S/4HANA, and outcome-based services in a packaged approach that reduces total cost of investment and ownership.

Head of SAP Cloud Infrastructure Services. This function is a key enabler of SAP's extrem growth in it's cloud business and is focused on the development of a Data Center strategy & consolidation roadmap based on customer and business requirements. It run's SAP's Cloud infrastructure & cloud platform's and delivers highest availability for SAP's customer's, drives cloud infrastructure harmonization and infrastructure standardization.

Drive the ODCA vision of defining interoperable and secure Enterprise Cloud environments based on standardized usage models, focused on enterprise cloud computing and big data and including Compute Infrastructure as a Service (CIaaS), Cloud Based Identity Governance and Auditing, Data Security, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Scale-out Storage and Software Defined Networking (SDN).

Head of Infrastructure Services responsible for SAP's IT infrastructure including office and workplace equipment, backend systems, data centers, network and WAN infrastructure as well as SAP system management for SAP’s business, development and training & demo landscapes.

Managing SAP's internal Enterprise Architecture and responsible for SAP's internal Business Application roadmap. Winner of the iCMG Enterprise Architecture Excellence Award 2012.
