As Director of AI Research at Hexagon AI Hub, I lead strategic AI initiatives across the fields of 3D processing, computational photography, document intelligence, edge AI, and generative AI. I focus on technology management — identifying, prioritizing, and scaling impactful AI capabilities — including 3D instance segmentation and automated training pipelines. I oversee the AI Hub’s patent and IP strategy, evaluate emerging technologies for long-term value.

At Hexagon Technology Hub, I led the applied AI team focused on machine learning for image and point cloud data. I was responsible for the technical direction and successful delivery of key initiatives, including a feasibility study for automated 3D model generation (Scan-to-BIM). My work involved coordinating project roadmaps with multiple Hexagon divisions, evaluating academic research and competitor approaches, and managing cross-functional deliverables.

Led a hardware design team developing high-efficiency power electronics for electric mobility. Drove technical and organizational leadership, managed resources, and optimized development processes/toolchains. Forged supplier and academic partnerships. Spearheaded the industrialization of a fast charger and fuel cell DC/DC converter for premium automotive OEMs.
