    Researcher PHD Student

    Freie Universität Berlin

PhD Candidate at Freie Universität Berlin specializing in ultrafast nonlinear spectroscopy (2D-IR and pump-probe). Bridges the gap between hardware engineering and data science, from building and synchronizing custom optical setups to investigate catalytic enzymes, to developing dedicated scientific software (Python, LabVIEW) for multidimensional data analysis. Passionate about leveraging this combined expertise in optics and programming to tackle complex R&D challenges.

    PHD Candidate

    Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam)

As a joint researcher between the groups of Prof. Roberta Croce and Prof. John Kennis, my work centered on the biophysical mechanisms of photosynthesis. I primarily investigated the function of plant proteins, focusing on PsbS as a crucial pH sensor. Alongside this core research, I conducted FTIR and UV/Vis pump-probe experiments on cytochrome samples. One of my practical achievements during this time was independently troubleshooting and restoring a classic nitrogen-purged Bruker IFS 66 spectrometer, bring

    Student Assistant

    Freie Universität Berlin

After completing Prof. Karsten Heyne's lectures on Advanced atomic and Molecular Physics, I joined his research group to gain hands-on laboratory experience. During my time there, I worked extensively on both the theoretical and experimental aspects of light-matter interactions and nonlinear optics. My core technical work involved constructing Non-collinear Optical Parametric Amplifiers (NOPAs), generating short optical pulses, nonlinear measurements on Iron complexes with a sub 20fs time resolutions, manag
