Research activity developed in collaboration with the Chair of Production and Operations Management (POM) of the ETH Zurich, and the Swisscom Lean Management & Continuous Improvement Processes (LMI) department. This research project aims to develop the Lean Management Assessment Tool, which is an instrument designed to guide and support the Swisscom organization through the transformation process toward Operational Excellence.

I developed the following expertise: •Support Operational Excellence Strategy •Formalize and support the implementation of lean program •Identification, design, implementation, and support continuous improvement processes •Strategic supply chain management •Logistics coordination and factory network configuration •Industry best practices identification and benchmarking •Inventory management, statistical analysis, forecasting

The main expertise and areas that were developed during that period include: • Customer’s need identification through direct customer relationship • Analytical problem-solving, cross-function brainstorming and benchmarking activity • Mechanical designing and virtual prototyping through 3D CAD software • Production planning and control, and cross-functional coordination
