We are the 'implementation arm' of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) on Inclusive Insurance. IAIS is embedded in our governance structure and operations. We generate and disseminate knowledge, build capacity, contribute to IAIS standard-setting, we foster learning and dialogue, support implementation at the regional and national levels, and participate in global advocacy processes. a2ii is currently hosted at GIZ.

We promote risk assessment, reduction, retention, and transfer through integrated financial solutions, engaging public and private stakeholders across all societal levels. Our adaptable, interdisciplinary approach incorporates social protection, Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), and anticipatory action, while collaborating with local financial sectors to ensure sustainability.
