As mechanical and chemical engineer, I mainly focus on the production of the chemicals used in our technology, on the development of heat batteries and heat storage and management systems composed by them, as well as the design and implementation of testing procedures for their analysis. I am also involved in the drafting of patents and grant applications.

- development of a macroscopic model for the investigation of transient phenomena in polymer electrolyte fuel cells; - experimental data collection with technical sized cells and small differential cell aiming at the validation at the investigation of transient PEFCs performance; - assistance to courses at ETH, preparation of the lessons - partecipation in international conferences

PhD research Thesis succesfully defended on September, 28th, 2011. Main topic of the thesis is the development of a macroscopic numerical model for the investigation of transient phenomena in polymer electrolyte fuel cells. The full physics is included in the model: multiphase-multispecies mass transport, momentum, energy, charge.
