I lead a network of experts who provide editorial, translation, marketing, and strategy services to universities and related organizations. Current and past clients include: major European research universities, universities of applied sciences, and business schools; the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD); the Institute of International Education (IIE); Baden-Württemberg International; the Hessen Ministry for Higher Education, Research, and the Arts (HMWK); Chronicle.com; and Swisscontact.

Represented the public university system of the German State of Hessen in North America and provided support for administrators in Hessen with international partnerships, marketing, and program design.

Worked with teams across the university (academic departments, financial aid, health services, legal, etc.) to create processes to help students study abroad, create quality faculty-led summer programs, reach out to new international partners, and efficiently evaluate incoming partnership requests.

Responsible for marketing German higher education in the US and Canada, including re-launching website and collateral, implementing CRM system, and developing new roles for alumni.

versaw all publications, marketing collateral, websites, and electronic newsletters, as well as producing annual concert in Carnegie Hall.

London (European Marketing Manager): Worked on re-launch of UK business for fall 2002, including writing site marketing content, revising all collateral (information packs, online demos, etc.), and redesigning account opening process. Berlin (Marketing Manager): Helped launch E*TRADE Germany, beating account-generation, trade, and revenue targets for the first quarter.

Competitive fellowship awarded annually to 20 US citizens to complete high-level work placements at leading organizations in Germany. Worked at E*TRADE (see above) and I-D Media.

Senior Content Manager (01/01-03/01), Global Content Manager (04/00-12/00) Managed senior producers of Australian, Canadian, and UK websites (largest websites for teens in those countries), as well as providing business and technological requirements for global product development. Senior Community Producer (02/00-04/00) New York, NY Responsible for all community applications (forums, chat, IM, blogs, profiles, etc.) at this early social network site.

Managed all content (produced in four languages) and community features; supervised three full-time editors and over 300 freelance writers and translators; wrote all marketing copy, newsletters, and popular weekly column.

Served as aide to Paul Breuer, Member of Bundestag and Defense Policy Speaker ("Sprecher") for the CDU and studied at the University of Bonn for one semester.
