After receiving his Bachelor of Science at the age of 21, he was hired for a "High-Potential" Management Development Program by a market leader in the segment food service. At the age of 23 he came to Germany as General Manager to open this company's first international purchasing and distribution center. Four years later he moved to the retail and franchise side of the business. He served as Manager of New Openings and Training.
