The company was established in 1985 by providing contract resources to many of the investment banks in City of London. Traditionally its technology specialities have been legacy consultants working on mid-range platforms.

Working for FSS which was a the a UK owned brand of the American ‘Spherion Corporation’, that was the 5th largest recruitment consultancy in the world. FSS worked alongside their UK sister brand, Crone Corkhill and together they provided a multitude of services to blue chip clients within the Finance, Secretarial and Administration sectors in the City of London.
