Diploma Engineer (UAS) in Physical Engineering with extensive experience in application and industrial engineering environments. I further strengthened my expertise in quality management and structured process improvement by completing certified training in Quality Management and Six Sigma (Green Belt). My focus lies in application engineering, system validation, measurement strategy and data-driven process optimization using DMAIC methodology within complex industrial settings.

Application Engineer International within the operational environment of Bruker Alicona Imaging (Graz), specializing in optical 3D surface and coordinate metrology. Responsible for international application support, system commissioning, technical customer consulting, system testing and validation of customer-specific measurement solutions. Close collaboration with R&D, product management and service, including customer training, pre-sales support and trade show participation.

Application & Service Engineer at LMI Technologies (formerly GF Messtechnik GmbH), specializing in optical 3D surface metrology. Responsible for application support, technical service, system commissioning and customer consulting in industrial environments. Conducted measurement tasks, troubleshooting and system testing, working closely with R&D, sales and customers. Supported customer training, pre-sales activities and international project assignments.

Application Specialist (Full-Time, Diploma Thesis) in optical metrology with a focus on thin-film technologies. Conducted diploma thesis research titled “Spectral Studies of Thin SiNx ICPECVD Films Using Infrared Ellipsometry” including measurement execution, spectral data analysis and application-oriented testing. Contributed to development and application projects within an industrial-scientific environment, including evaluation of measurement uncertainty and interpretation of material properties.

Technical Employee (Part-Time During Studies) in optical 3D surface metrology. Contributed to measurement tasks, optical 3D digitization and coordinate measurement of cutting tools and inserts. Supported system operation, measurement data analysis and application-oriented testing. Completed study thesis titled “Optical 3D Digitization and Coordinate Measurement of Cutting Tools and Inserts.” Applied structured analysis and systematic evaluation of measurement data.

Engineering studies focused on Physical Engineering and Microsystems Technology with specializations in laser and optical engineering. Strong foundation in microphysics, sensor and measurement technology, supported by laboratory training. Participation in the German-Polish Summer School “Microtechnology Systems” (2007) with lab work in micro- and nanotechnology. Diploma thesis on spectral characterization of thin SiNx ICPECVD films using infrared ellipsometry (grade 1.8).
