Project: Development of new electrolytes materials for Resistive Random Access Memory (RRAM). The aim of this project was to understand the physics that underlies electrochemical formation and dissolution of a conduction path (nanometric metallic filament), between the two electrodes allowing to flip between low and high resistance states. I developed a new electrolyte oxide materials for RRAM. I modeled a functional scheme which highlights the conduction path that is formed during set and reset states.
- 2009 - 2010
Materials Research Engineer
Institut Français du Pétrole
This project was to develop an innovative process for the production of chemical intermediates used in petrochemical industry. I developed a new process to immobilize catalyst in nanoporous materials. I investigated and highlighted the physical-chemistry that monitors surface properties, porosity, crystal and pore size of catalytic nanomaterials. This process modifies catalyst selectivity aiming to produce specific oriented products. This innovation could be applied to many other chemical reactions.
- 2005 - 2008
Materials Engineer
STMicroelectronics
This project was carried out aiming to develop new high-permittivity oxide materials that will be able to replace silica as gate oxide allowing the continuous scaling down of CMOS technology Attached to the project manager, I highlighted the physiscal features involved in vacancies diffusion for improving high-К oxide properties as gate dielectrics. I developed an original tool : the energy density maps which is at the basis of innovative engineering for materials design and optimization.
