Senior DSP Scientist and coordinator of the Process Development activities in Fast Trak, an team in GE Healthcare that develops purification processes based on GE’s technology for rProteins, MAbs, biosimilars and other therapeutical products.

Responsibilities: - Responsible of the process development of viral projects in the DSP Department, in a team of 2 engineers and 1 technician. - Leader of a major project coordinating several departments across the CMO. Major achievement: successful completion of a small scale development and scale up of a full purification process for the production of a viral particle destinated to clinical trials for cancer treatment.

- Leader of the DSP Department, with a team of 2 technicians. - Start up from scratch of the Downstream Processing Department, which includes 3 ÄKTA Systems: Explorer, Pilot and Ready. - Development of purification methods for projects from the mg to the Kg scale from bacterial and eukaryotic systems. - Regular user of TFF, diafiltration and other downstream techniques. - Method adaptation from the development to the production stage. - Technical report and GMP compliance documentation.
