Project management and commercialization of new CMP slurries with focus on product quality including process robustness, utilizing a Six Sigma approach. Responsibilities include analytical method development for new products and raw materials, statistical data analysis, experimental planning and organization, RCA of customer complaints and proper documentation and communication to global teams across multiple departments.

Formulation of new tungsten slurries for different CMP applications and customers within multidisciplinary, global team.

Development of new synthetic methodologies towards small heterocyclic core structures, such as imidazoles and pyrazoles as well as synthesis of imidazolium-based carbenes and ionic liquids as new CO2 capture reagents.

Synthetic methodology development, namely umpolung of allyl metal-complexes as well as the application of these methodologies to the synthesis of a new geldanamycin derivative, a highly potent polyketide.
