Half-Time Assignment. Lead the North American side Technology Development, R&D, Business Development, Commercial and Marketing Activities.

In charge of Delphi’s worldwide Innovation Center Energy, Propulsion and Powertrain Technology teams. Member of the company’s R&D Council. Directed R&D in the key areas of diesel systems, gasoline systems, aftertreatment catalysts, fuel cells, reformers, energy storage, hybrid powertrain, and sensors.

Member of the Engineering Executive Team with lead management and technical responsibilities for future technologies and advanced engineering. Reported to the Executive Vice President then to the President of DDC. Nominated to the Chief Technical Officer just before Daimler acquired Detroit Diesel. General management and supervision of other directors, administrative and financial groups. Lead technologist for DDC and the primary DDC executive for external liaison with the technical community.
