Kinetic modelling of the methoxycarbonylation of methyl 10-undecenoate via model- based optimal design of experiment (ODOE). My tasks: Literature review. Set up several kinetic models (gPROMS). Model discrimination experiment design by ODOE method (MATLAB). Running the designed experiments.

Model-based conceptual design and comparison of process alternatives for the production of formic acid (FA). My tasks: Process review and comparison. Separation unit analysis. Detailed design of the distillation column. Overall cost estimation and economic analysis.

In-plant training with the process and introduction of control system (DCS).
