Work with other engineers and team members from IPTE facilities worldwide to commission production equipment Use understanding of test control systems to support development of automation equipment (electrical, motions, pneumatic & fluid controls). Design of hardware, using standard available parts, components and modules (market solutions, private IPTE-standards or solutions specified by the customer)

Communicate as needed with design engineers, purchasers, technicians, external contractors, suppliers and customers Work within project assignment constraints including scope, budget and timeline Understand health, safety and quality compliance standards for the country in which the work is performed Develop and debug machine software including but not limited to: Allen Bradley Program Logic Controller (PLC) - Siemens Program Logic Controller (PLC) - Omron Program Logic Controller (PLC)

- Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) for machine control and user interface Program and debug industrial robots for production applications Program and debug servo drives for production applications Develop and execute machine testing documentation (performance and safety) Troubleshooting and problem solving Read and understand mechanical, electrical and pneumatic drawings Communicate required mechanical, electrical and pneumatic changes to machines to colleagues during debug and installation phases

Provide status updates to customer and internal IPTE stakeholders Provide on-site customer training and support Support the development of proposals/quotations for new projects being bid by IPTE
