Nishit Gajjar

The work was focused on energy optimization. My main task was to build Docker components for data collection, prediction and webservices. I worked extensively in Python and used frameworks such as MQTT and Redis. A major task was to implement machine learning algorithms for time-series forecasting of load and power. I had to develop and deploy prediction models in production environment using Keras (Tensorflow).

Snapdeal is an e-commerce company, where I worked in the Ad-tech department and one of my responsibilities included collection, processing and enhancing of large amounts of raw data. On top of this I was also tasked to build the recommended Ads feature. To do these tasks I worked with Java and used tools like kafka and Hbase. Also, Ads need to be served seamlessly at very small throughput times and hence, while working at Snapdeal, I had to build highly efficient and optimized systems.
