Özgür Mutlu Öz

As Head of the UX/UI Design department, managing the team to define UX/UI design of the products, fulfill the needs of the related departments such as Industrial Product Design R&D (software development), Product Management and Marketing. The department is responsible for the whole products of the company including Major and Small Domestic Appliances, Consumer Electronics and Mobile Applications for all the marketing regions such as North America, EMEA, Russia, and Asia-Pacific.

I improved myself in experience design and interface design parallel to my Master’s Thesis and worked on display and interface designs. I was responsible for UX studies of white goods, TV’s, consumer electronics, small household appliances and mobile apps for those products. Planning user surveys, focus groups, perceived quality and usability tests were my main responsibilities. Moreover, managed university-industry projects with design departments and workshops with students.

Started my career at Arçelik as product designer. Participated white goods projects, responsible for the coordination of the design team or as a designer in order to design well matched with brief, based on the brand values and within the calendar. In every project, learned a lot about design, materials, manufacturing and also marketing. Designed consumer electronic products for Grundig and was responsible for the designs, time planning and tolerances with the suppliers located in East Asia.
