Role: Team Head responsible for two compliance teams (total 8 FTE) in a private Swiss bank: • Management of high-risk client lifecycle in Emerging Markets (Eastern Europe, LATAM, Africa). • Onboarding and periodic risk assessments; PEPs; KYC/EDD; external due diligence reports; transactional approvals; suspicious activity reports (SAR); special reviews and investigations (incl. sanctions, financial crime compliance, reputational risk), etc.

Role: Team Head facilitating global clients risk oversight in a universal Swiss bank: • Pivoted the mandate and methodology of the new global compliance / risk management framework, incl. identification of 100+ top risk clients, their profiles, holistic risk assessment and monitoring. • Operationalized the function to be a coordinator in the global matrix organization, facilitated consistent and holistic client risk appetite alignment across the borders and business functions.

Over 7 years of legal client-facing experience in the global law firm. Participation and leadership in the deals on the banking and finance market in Eastern Europe.
