Oliver Geßner

Oliver is International Finance and Administration Manager at the XGEM Group, Biarritz - France (formerly SAGEMCOM). He is responsible for managing all Accounting-, Controlling-, Consolidation- and HR-tasks. He is doing that for XGEM Deutschland, XGEM UK, XGEM Benelux, XGEM Polska and a branch in Scandinavia. Oliver is heading a team of six employees and managing several CPAs. Physically he is located at XGEM premises in Eschborn - Germany.

Monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in consideration of local-GAAP, local tax accounting and IFRS; statements for consolidation purposes; controlling and reporting; preparation of budget and forecast; contact for public authorities and auditors; management and controlling of receivables-, payables- and balance-sheet-accounting as well as HR and IT; five staff members to manage; deputy MD; management of two further affiliated companies in accounting and administrative purposes

Coordination and execution of monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes in consideration of local-GAAP and IFRS; Intercompany-reconciliation and –consolidation of one partly owned subsidiary; Preparation of monthly status report for the shareholder; Sales-controlling and presentation to (sales-)management ; DCF-calculations to asses capital expenditures

Monthly cost-controlling, preparation and presentation of site-related monthly reports,; monthly and annual closing processes related to production and inventory in consideration of local GAAP and US-GAAP; Profitability analysis and simulations; SOX-Control-Owner for processes related to production and inventory

Reconciliation of inventory accounting within different accounting Systems; monthly and annual closing processes related to inventory accounting; Implementing SOX control processes and train the control-owners
