Development and LCM of cell separation instruments, software, accessories and disposables (i.e. autoMACS family, MultiMACS X, MuM C24 and M96, MACS Elution Station and associated disposables, cell separation columns, magnets and buffers); Concept development and strategic definition of Miltenyi’s next generation instrument portfolio; Core member of the cell separation business-segment-analysis and strategic business-segment planning team; Advisor to the company’s management board

Responsible for the development of various research instruments, devices and disposables; Leading of multiple project specific interdisciplinary teams (i.e. electronics, mechanics, software, biophysics, biology, chemistry, plastics, production/operations and marketing department); Worldwide planning and coordination of custom automation projects with project specific international teams; Basic validation and acquisition/licensing of new technologies;

Scientific planning of microarray service experiments, responsibility for cost calculation of microarray and bioinformatics service projects, sole responsibility for microarray service, microarray kits and a-Hyb hybridization station technical support, presentation of product relevant marketing information at international sales organizations, in-house product training of the international sales teams and distributors, On-site scientific support and product presentations

Worldwide scientific support for MACS Molecular customers, Miltenyi sales teams and distributors, second level scientific support for the international technical support teams, consultation of customers regarding the MACS Molecular product portfolio, Complaint handling for the MACS Molecular product portfolio
