Manage Apps Metrics and Logging using Elasticsearch. New Technology evaluation and implementation Hands-on.

Oracle Database administration production and test environment, Automatic Storage Management, Active Standby Dataguard, RAC, Cloud Control, Unix systems, RMAN Backup. Participate in meetings and provide solutions to Development and Business Departments. Programming applications using SQL, PLSQL, APEX, BASH, PERL and Ruby. Deployment and automation using scripting, Docker and Ansible.

Oracle database administration field. Upgrade, migrate and maintain Oracle 11g R2 RAC Databases. Backup and Recovery strategy implementation. Program with SQL and PLSQL the required business modules. The customer is based in Viena, Austria, http://www.gutmann.at . The main technologies that I use are Oracle Database 11g RAC, SQL and PL/SQL development, DataPump, RMAN, SQL Profiler and TKPROF for performance, Bash and Ruby 1.9 scripting used in the database creation and migration framework under Linux x86_64

I coordinated the efforts of a small team that designed, implemented and tested new features for several customers. Moreover, my daily activities consisted in administration and tuning of existent Oracle 11g databases in order to work in the best conditions. We also supported the developers’ and testers’ teams in their tasks regarding the database and contributed to the knowledge management content of the project. The job included also a 6 month business trip to the client site in Frankfurt, DE.

My daily activities included analysis and development of new features for Sentori, a billing and customer care project. As a member of the development team, I was responsible to implement and test new requirements for this complex telecommunication project. I was able to improve my skills both as Java EE and database developer. Also I studied and passed my third Oracle certification exam, Database Administration, which helped me maintain and manage the development databases.

I was involved in a project based job that included the redesign of the PC Live Support application. The objective of the project was to offer to the customers the possibility of receiving remote connections from the technical team in order to resolve issues of their personal PC. I designed the database and I was involved in an active manner in the development of the web application which monitors and manages the users, sessions and history of the application.

As part of a large development team I was responsible of implementing and testing new modules of several projects in collaboration with Siveco Romania: SIUI application - a complete IT solution for Health System for Romanian Government, SAFIR - the System of the Administration of the Social Benefits System. The job helped me acquire important knowledge regarding complex IT projects and development of Java applications based on Oracle databases.
