POUYA ROSHANPOUR

As the Head of Process and Facility Design, I lead a team of scientists and engineers in developing, optimizing, and executing insulin and monoclonal antibody development process and facility design and put in place effective cost-saving and compliant manufacturing operations. I work alongside R&D, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to develop innovative products. I oversee the development and building of new facilities and maximizing existing facilities to offer scalability and flexibility.

I worked on the development of the 9-valent HPV vaccine. Initially, we focused on developing the culture medium and optimizing the production conditions. We then worked on purification and the deassembly/reassembly process of HPV VLP. Finally, we concentrated on the adjuvant, but this work remained unfinished due to a change in my job position.

Initially, I served as the Pharmaceutical Accelerator Manager for the company. During this period, several products were developed, including RT-PCR diagnostic kits, cosmetic peptides, herbal supplements, and enzymes required for the biotechnology industry. Later, I transitioned to the role of Head of Solid Line Production for the company.
