Pablo José Gaido

I have developed ideas and concepts for Nuun Official, a watch company located in the Kingdom of Bahrain. I work closely, at various stages of projects, with other designers studios.

I’ve been involved in the entire design process, from brainstorming and sketching, to high-quality illustrations, CAD modeling for proto and production up to backing up client’s engineers and design teams. Clients: Alegna, Lomme (furniture), Dubois, IWC, Nomos, Moser, Tudor, Vulcain, Zenith (watches), Huawei, VPS (wearables), Phonak, Swiss Galoppers, Vitalife (health), Guebelin (packaging), Hoval (heating systems), Siemens (phones), Sigg (bags), Victorinox (knives), city of Zurich (ZH2O Bottle).

I was leading small groups of future designers, students, for 2 years. Classes were highly dynamic, spontaneous, not structured, and experimental. Students were explained and shown how to draw, sketch, illustrate products, using several hand and virtual techniques. Late 2016, I was selected to lead the new Institute of Morphology and Communication of Form. I created its structure, syllabus, and its future road map.

Role: Co-founder. Entrepeneur. Project selected by the Business Incubator of the National University of Córdoba. Project awarded - Seed Fund by Ministry of Production of the Argentinean Government. The project received as well an Honorable Mention from the Stimulus Fund.

The Universidad Nacional del Litoral launched its Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design in March 2013, under the Faculty of Architecture and Design. I was responsible to create the entire degree syllabus including structure assembly, particular subjects design, contents and bibliography, staff and professor management. Figures and facts regarding UNL. Founded in October 1919. Faculties: 12. Students: over 44.000. Degrees, specializations and PhD: over 130. Sphere of influence: 1.7 million inhabitants.

The board wanted a radical design to be created in 4 months. I worked mainly on CAD for the exterior skin and the interior cabin. The result was a stunning, innovative, and provocative product.

ALFA ROMEO Centro di Estilo. Alfa Romeo 159 interior design. Role: Car Designer. Torino & Milano, Italy. Based on the 159 interiors, I created high-quality illustrations backed up with concept sketches. The project was presented to former design director Wolfgang Egger.

Transportation Design Master - Work Experience. Full scale model shown at Geneva Motor Show 2007. Role: Be-ON concept car lead designer. My design was selected out of 18 individual proposals. It was presented at Geneve Motor Show 2007. Jury was headed by Lorenzo Ramacciotti (former Pininfarina), togheter with Luca Borgogno (Pininfarina).
