The objective of Apovista, a start-up business, is to develop concepts that supply patients living in underdeveloped areas, with little to no access to pharmacies, with their medication. I am responsible for implementing the corporate structures of the new business, as well as developing our main concept - The CarePoint. I maintain an ongoing dialogue and good relationship with our shareholders to ensure that our goals & objectives work towards the strategic direction of the organization.

A promotion to Sales Manager allowed me to lead the Fenchem South Africa Sales Department. This was a great achievement both personally and within the company, being the youngest Branch Manager worldwide. My key responsibilities included leading the sales staff and developing specific revenue growth plans for all departments. Some of my daily activities included; forecasting of annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams, assisting sales personnel and hedging against foreign currency movements.

Within the newly opened animal feed department at Fenchem´s South Africa office, I fulfilled the role of Sales Executive. I conducted ongoing market research into the African animal feed sector and constantly generated new business. Among others, my daily activities included cold calling manufacturers, building and maintaining relationships with clients, determining payment terms and managing my clients´ supply chain. I was able to turn my clients into the biggest clients in Fenchem SA's portfolio.

I provided support to IBM users internally and to external commercial accounts across Europe. I interacted on a day to day basis with IBM end Users handling inbound calls, emails and any technical issue queries for the end user. My duties entailed me performing root cause analysis, problem resolution, identifying opportunities & implementing process improvement.
