Working on Shopify's asset delivery infrastructure serving hundreds of millions of users. Focus areas are global caching and working on asset transformation services. Besides contributing directly to the team's services and leading projects I am responsible for stakeholder communication and roadmap planning. Techstack: Cloudflare, GCP, Golang, Kubernetes

Leading the technical side of a new team spun out of the former team I was the manager of. It is responsible for the customer's journey from the moment a customer books a trip until they get dropped off. Projects include our apps, backends, and in-vehicle screens, especially for MOIA’s new Autonomous Vehicles. I am responsible for the overall architecture within that team and for building the team itself. That includes responsibilities like hiring or developing internal processes. Techstack: AWS, Golang

I am responsible for 5 back-end engineers and help them provide a top notch ride experience to our customers. I achieve that through: - Working out and establishing an effective team setup. - Run cross-team and team internal development projects in a lean fashion and also participating in the development as a Senior Engineer. - Hiring and onboarding the right people. - Help the members in my team to grow professionally through 1-1s and development plans.

I am responsible for XING's central GraphQL gateway which allows our product teams to deliver their products and features faster, reliably and with high quality. I led projects surrounding the development of the gateway either team internally or across multiple teams and helped rolling it out into the organization. I also co-authored the vision and roadmap for the continued development.

I am responsible for our central onthology infrastructure - services, near real-time worker and Hive batch jobs - which power XING's recommender systems and search and allow for high quality results. Next to that I provide Data Engineering consulting to XING internal teams and help build and maintain developer tooling to enable product teams building data based services faster and more reliably.
