I was responsible for the support, maintenance and development activities for the EMEA (inc India) SSO (Shared Services Organisation) and operating businesses, mainly for the modules Accounts Payable (AP), Purchasing (PO), Asset Management (AM) and General Ledger (GL) including VAT. This project includes the upgrade of these core modules, move to a global ERP instance and the transition of system, process and personnel to SSC. This also encompassed the global implementation of a Document Image Management.

I was working as a Project manager for the European phase of this global systems and process implementation. To meet the European businesses significant growth, this business critical Finance and HR systems implementation will incorporate best practice and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

The purpose of this project was to eliminate the disparate systems and standardize existing processes and financial systems across the group. Also to consolidate recurring business activities into Regional Shared Service Accounting centres for EMEA, ASIA and CALA.

This wa an interim management position during the upgrade from PeopleSoft 7.5 to 8.8. The role of FPI manager includes leading and completing key finance process improvement projects, provision of Global PeopleSoft support to finance and business teams and maintenance of finance systems .

I was working as the PeopleSoft Project Manager for the implementation of an EMEA Shared Service Center. This project was to enable the company to leverage standardized accounting structures, business processes and computer systems across the EMEA Region.
