Prathmesh Kapure

During my full-time assignment at BMW Group Werk Regensburg, I gained hands-on experience in high-volume automotive series production under takt-bound conditions and strict quality standards. I worked in Press Shop, Paint Shop, and Finish, supporting assembly and finishing operations in German-speaking teams. My tasks included sheet-metal handling at robotic welding cells, paint surface inspection, rework activities, component assembly, and HRK anticorrosion wax application in After Paint Finish.

• Participated in production and assembly line operations and conducted quality checks which supported lean manufacturing processes • Gained hands-on knowledge of JIT manufacturing and workflow optimization

• Managed production schedules ensuring optimal resource use and reduced downtime • Improved quality control, reducing defects and enhancing process efficiency • Supervised a team of 10 production workers with focus on safety and high morale • Implemented safety protocols and performance evaluations.
