Joined as an intern and took on broad responsibility for operations and finance at an early-stage Berlin proptech startup supporting 141 active tenants and approximately €766K in annualized rental revenue. While working closed with the founder I built the financial tracking infrastructure from scratch, covering rent collection, landlord payouts, tenant deposits and reconciliation across multiple accounts. Prepared cash-flow forecasts and gave the founder visibility into payment obligations and funding gaps

Built early exposure to capital, risk, and drawdowns through active participation in public markets. Learned capital discipline the hard way — how confidence compounds faster than controls, how downside defines survival, and why risk management matters more than upside narratives. This phase shaped how I think about incentives, sequencing, and the cost of decisions made without structure.

Co-founded an early-stage venture and worked closely on business and financial decisions across pricing, operations, and supply-chain structure. Dealt with real constraints — vendors, margins, cash-flow timing, and execution trade-offs — where decisions had immediate consequences. This role forced discipline around structure, incentives, and capital efficiency in a real operating environment.

Worked on early-stage business problems spanning pricing, market positioning, and basic operational structure. Built and shut down a small venture after early revenue validation — not due to lack of demand, but due to gaps in capital planning and structural readiness. This phase reinforced the difference between momentum and durability, and the importance of sequencing execution with structure.
