    Student Research Assistant

Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics

    1. PCB design 2. design of cosmic ray muon detector - Two low-cost PCBs designed with a low-noise amplifier that is able to read out up to 50 diodes in parallel, with the components both machine and hand soldered. - Software used: KiCAD (PCB Designing), LTSpice (Circuit Simulation) - system designed to be able to run using the power supplied by a standard USB port for integration onto PC-based system.

Ausbildung von Priyanka Kesavadas

  • 1 Jahr und 8 Monate, März 2019 - Okt. 2020

    Sensor systems Technology

Hochschule Karlsruhe - Technik und Wirtschaft

Pursued the course as a dual degree student from VIT University, India. Projects: • Data Analysis for Citizen-science Cosmic Ray muon detector (Thesis) - Data analysis on a newly designed cosmic ray muon detector using C++ and ROOT software. - Analysis methods used: averaging & normalization, scatter plots, efficiency, signal to noise ratio - Analysis done for previous detector models and comparison was done. - Optimization of new model by changing critical components and performing analysis.
