As a fatigue engineer, the primary responsibility is to analyze the repairs on primary structural components for fatigue and damage tolerance. The structural repairs include skin allowable rework, dent allowable damage and dress out, bush repair, lightning strike allowable damage and repair, skin repair, stringer and frame repairs. The threshold, inspection intervals and exclusion areas are mapped in Structural Repair Manuals.

Analyze the A350XWB cargo door surround components for structural integrity. Different components include Lower Latch Fittings, Upper Frame and Lower Frame Fittings, Piano Hinge and OP Boxes. • Detailed Finite Element Model Creation of structures, FEM Validation and correlation. • Strength, Stability and Joint analysis for all the structural components using FEM and Hand Calculations. • Sizing and Optimization of structural components for different MSN’s.
