- Manage a team of Operations engineers incl. people hiring, budgeting, prioritization, and capacity allocation - Monitor and coach team members' professional and technical development - Support local and global Operations team in its strategy and deliverables - Develop and cultivate close relationships within Operations Engineering and with Manufacturing, GTS, PLM, Quality and Regulatory, Logistics, Purchasing and R&D to adequately staff projects and resolve conflicts.

- provide technical product sustaining support - develop and maintain technical product and process documentation - design tools and test fixtures - conduct detailed troubleshooting and analysis of system or component level problems - provide input or participate in NPI projects - support the supply chain with engineering expertise

- full responsibility for proper functioning of the test equipment (Agilent, Takaya FP, Marconi, Reinhardt) - implementation of engineering change orders (ECO) - development of test programs for new products - improvement of production yields and reliability of tests - cooperation with R&D, Product Engineering, and Failure Analyses Technicians on resolving any issues concerning PCBAs failing tests

- preparing and performing lectures - organizing and conducting laboratory measurements - organizing and managing educational tours
