1) Project overview -> Client: Elsevier -> Goal: using SciBite's TERMite functionalities, the objective was to develop a NLP (Natural Language Processing) software able to process and extract information from academic texts containing biological/pharmaceutical information. -> See more about this software here: https://www.scibite.com/platform/termite/. 2) My main responsibilities/tasks -> Analysis of biological requirements. -> Development of Python scripts. 3) Work tools -> Jupyter, GitHub, Jira, etc.

1) Project overview -> Client: Google -> Goal: to ensure quality standards for Google's Search Engine are met with each code delivery from the development teams, using for that quality assurance (QA) principles and guidelines. 2) My main responsibilities/tasks -> Investigate and triage internally-reported bugs. -> Review the results of several QA tests. -> Add/improve grammar patterns for Portuguese and English for Google's NLP algorithm. -> Occasionally I trained and welcomed new members to the team.

1) Project overview -> Client: HMR - Health Market Research -> Goal: expand a database with new entries. -> This database contains pharmaceutical products commercialized in Germany. -> The database was then used for market research purposes by the client. 2) My main responsibilities/tasks -> Expand, manage and analyze the database. -> Each new entry added to the database had to be classified according to several international pharmaceutical classification systems.

1) Project overview -> Client: Bosch -> Goal: overall assistance to the Quality Control (QC) Engineering team. -> This team was mainly responsible for testing several car components taken from the production line in accordance with quality control standards. 2) My main responsibilities/tasks -> Writing an English manual for all the tests and methods performed in the laboratory. -> Performing mechanical and chemical tests. 3) Work tools -> Google public tools. -> Microsoft Office.

1) Project overview -> Client: Instituto Gulbenkian da Ciência -> Goal: expand the functionalities of the GINsim software. -> This software allows the analysis of Genetic Regulatory Networks. 2) My main responsibilities/tasks -> Development of Python scripts. 3) Work tools -> Google public tools: Gmail, Google Meet, Google Drive, etc. -> Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint and Excel. -> GINsim software: http://ginsim.org/

1) Project overview -> Client: Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) -> Goal: the Environmental and Ecoprocess Engineering Research Group (ENVERG) aims at the development of clean innovative technologies for industrial application and industrial pollution control. 2) My main responsibilities/tasks -> Preparation of feeding media for two Sequencing Batch Reactors (SBR). -> Preparation of filters for the determination of Total Suspended Solids (TSS). -> Measure of absorbance's values.
