I lead approximately 100 IT professionals located in Europe, North America and Asia. I am responsible for - Defining and implementing specific parts of a global IT strategy. Delivering IT services and Solutions to 20000 users World Wide. Definition of hardware standards within the data centre (storage & server). Global negotiating with SUN, IBM, HP, Netapp, Microsoft, Oracle. Implementing ITIL processes. Driving SOX Compliance. Initiating Green initiatives.

• Project Management of all IT infrastructure activities related to the acquisition or divestiture of Infineon companies. This included infrastructure setup of companies acquired within Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. • Reviewing contracts associated with acquisitions or divestitures. • Project durations 3-12 months. • Securing financial approval for budgets required for carve in activities (€500K - €7M).

• Building and leading a team of engineers and technicians • Overseeing the installation, start up, qualification and operation of manufacturing equipment with a total value in excess of $400 million. • Assuring the availability of equipment used to manufacture semiconductor devices. • Leading productivity improvement activities. • Delivering root cause analysis reports and corrective analysis plan for production related “excersions”. • Budget responsibility for $12 million. • Vendor management.

Steag Microtech GmBH manufactured capital equipment and processes for advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
