Robert Hakobyan

Working at Porsche Research & Development Center in Weissach through Technology and Strategy. Responsible for maintaining and updating VR devices, executing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) validation tests, and developing automated test solutions to improve testing efficiency and reliability within automotive R&D environments.

During my internship at Mi-Jack Europe, I worked on topics at the intersection of software engineering, DevOps, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE). I designed and deployed a complete CI/CD pipeline with Docker on a private server, leveraging on-premise runners to optimize infrastructure usage. This led to 3x faster builds and approximately €200 in monthly cost savings. I also developed tools for automated requirements validation, based on a YAML-configurable framework designed for maintainability

As part of my work at the Strasbourg Astronomical Observatory, I developed a chatbot leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to facilitate access to astronomical data. The project focused on natural language processing (NLP) to enable users to query complex databases intuitively. By integrating models such as OpenAI's GPT with domain-specific data sources, the chatbot aimed to enhance user interaction, automate information retrieval, and improve accessibility for researchers and astronomy enthusiasts.

I am enrolled in a dual-degree program, combining a 5-year engineering degree in Computer Science at UTBM with the Master’s in Technological Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ETI).

I completed an Erasmus semester in Saarbrücken in Computer Science, with courses taken in both English and German.

I am pursuing a 5-year engineering degree in Computer Science at UTBM, focusing on software engineering, machine learning, and data science. The program combines theoretical learning with hands-on experience, including two mandatory 6-month internships to apply my skills in real-world projects.
