Responsible for PMO implementation and management in the business line Product and Services. The PMO is composed of Organizational Process Assets (all projects documentation, lessons learned, knowledge management, documents standardization, and process optimization), Risk Management (commercial and technical), Projects Scheduling, Business Intelligence, Project Managers, Contracts Management (Frame Contracts) and Strategic Planning (Portfolio Sales Flow, POC – EVM, planning and growth planning).

All the disciplines in the project are my responsibility. Follow a quick summary: Engineering (mechanical, electrical/automation, process), Manufacture, Procurement (negotiate), Quality, Logistic, Construction, Project controlling (schedule, cost, risks (+/-), reports to the customer and board of the company, scope, change management, negotiation of minus/plus, claims, entire project strategy, etc, Commissioning (mechanical, electrical/automation), start-up, Final acceptance, Lessons learned.

The main activities in this role are: to understand the customer needs upon the inquiry received and to define the best Voith's solution for the case. Lead the Applications engineering team to make the technical and commercial proposals. The proposal includes all the technical rules and details related to the project lifecycle (scope, pricing, planning, management, construction, QHSE, commissioning, and final acceptance). Also, during the negotiation phase, define de strategy and lead the process by Voith.

Responsible for the development and implementation of the new process of procurement, key index (including spend analysis and operational figures), and procurement department’s Intranet portal (focused on communication and knowledge management). Also, acted as an SAP MM Key user and BW Power user, the department controller, and the internal auditor of the procurement process. It was included in my temporary duties the control of all the internal projects and CAPEX projects as well.

Responsible for leading the manufacturer’s development & research team (3 people). The aims of this department were to provide new solutions to testing technologies and enhance the current process. The most important achievement was the development of the Paperless Project that which was implemented in all the Voith Paper’s plants around the world.
