Research Project: Accuracy Analysis for Remote Respiration Rate Detection
Taking advantage of MATLAB's Computer Vision System Toolbox™, this algorithm estimates a person's respiration rate by taking input from a standard RGB camera. It makes use of Viola-Jones object detection to distinguish a person’s chest area and Lucas-Kanade flow estimation to detect the chest’s movements.
