Offering the full scale of PADI Scuba courses and PADI student materials & accommodation with 14 rooms. The Divecenter also includes a retail shop, which offers a wide range of scuba diving related items. Certified regulator & scuba compressor technician as well as teaching and making people interested to gain knowledge and improve abilities. Leading a team of 15 employees.

Monthly reporting to the headquarter in London, sales reporting to the CEO, development of cost center calculations and implementation, cash management and treasury, annual budget & forecasting, annual reports and closing according to UK GAAP, responsible for internal & tax audits. Contact Person for all banks, insurance, lawyer and auditor related communication and transactions, debt. collections.

Responsible for all financial and controlling affairs under local and IFRS accounting standards of our branches in Middle and Far East. Mainly UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Singapore, Malaysia, India and Hong Kong. Liable for budgeting, forecasting, monthly management / cashflow report and all financing & cash relevant activities. Leading a team of 6 local resident Finance Managers. Responsible for the closing meeting with one of the Big 4 Auditor who is based in the foreign countries.

Responsible for the whole cashflow activities of the European subsidiaries. Main contact for the daily operating treasury business and the strategic forecasting. Budgeting of all in/outflows and key account for several banks like HSBC, SEB and Deutsche Bank. In charge to research alternative financing solutions like factoring, financial- and operating lease to save financial recourses and liquidity. Additional part of the responsibility was the interim and annual reporting for the European subsidiaries.

Responsible for the general ledger, creditor's ledger and debtor’s ledger. Booking of supplier and customer invoices. Reconciliation of the inter-company accounts and preparing of the weekly payment run for the Finance Director's review. Also doing the complete accounting activities for our branch in Switzerland including regular business traveling. Starting Oct 1999 responsible to setup a credit control department to check credit facilities.
