Responsibility at the Institute for Applied Physics (TPD-TNO-TU) was to conceive and develop innovative imaging and precision measuring techniques based on lasers and coherent optics.

Dissertation titled 'Quantitative Holographic Interferometry: Measurement of Solid Object Deformations." Describes theory, design and practical use of a novel system for contactless precision measurements of deformed objects with examples of industrial and medical applications.
