I am a Trustee on the Board for Langworthy Cornerstone Association, Salford, which is a large Community Centre in central Salford, managed by local people. Our aim is to: 'Improve the Health & Wellbeing of the citizens of Salford and especially those of Seedley & Langworthy'. The Centre hosts a GP surgery, a cafe, a children's Centre and activities/services that support health and wellbeing

I research on the commentary about translation in the Arabic speaking world in the Classical and Nahda periods for a forthcoming Anthology on translation discourse in the Arab world
