Supported R&D of III–V semiconductor VCSELs, LEDs & flip-chip devices. Enhanced performance via geometry, epitaxial & material optimization. Analyzed compositions & doping profiles for electrical transport, optical confinement & MQW recombination. Performed 2D electro-optical & thermal TCAD simulations (Silvaco DeckBuild/Victory Device) to model band diagrams, IQE & heat transfer. Designed masks in KLayout, conducted chip characterization (ECV, XRD, PL), and applied SPC/DOE for yield optimization.

• Fabricated VCSELs for quantum and single-photon applications, reducing power use and enhancing photon emission precision. • Performed advanced lithography, dry/wet etching, sputtering, atomic layer and thin film deposition for high-precision, research-grade device fabrication. • Developed a new characterization protocol for III-V semiconductor chips, increasing measurement accuracy and consistency. • Achieved uniform semiconductor layer deposition via MBE.

• Conducted semiconductor front-end processes for the fabrication of nanochips, achieving a maximum yield rate by implementing rigorous quality checks and characterizing performance using advanced analytical tools to ensure product excellence. • Researched and analyzed emerging technologies in semiconductor fabrication, contributing actionable insights that led to the identification of key process improvements for enhanced operational efficiency across projects.
