I was responsible for to work in the pultrusion machine, to help in the development of formulations for resins, to enter in contact with the partnership companies, to purchase all the itens necessaries to the project, to do thermal analysis and analyze the results from the mechanical tests.

At IVW I worked with induction welding for polymeric composites to compare with resistance welding process for the same material. I developed my own specific test specimens by implementing thermocouples into laminates to understand the way of heat generation and the process differences for resistance welding. Beyond that, I found the parameters through DOE (Design of experiments) and welded many samples to do mechanical, thermal and environmental conditioning tests.
